DXI Construction Announces Brand Refresh Following 50-Year Anniversary
DXI Construction, formerly Dixie Construction and one of the Mid-Atlantic’s leading site-preparation construction companies, is pleased to announce a brand refresh that honors their past while also reflecting the future of the business.
Following their recent 50-year anniversary, the DXI Construction team decided to evolve their brand, including their name and logo. While still legally operating as Dixie Construction Company, Inc., they are using a shortened version of that name, DXI Construction, to do business going forward. DXI maintains the heritage and history of the company while also emphasizing their technological expertise and modern business approach.
As they have grown from a Harford County-based paving company to a large, regional site contractor, DXI Construction has stayed true to the strong roots laid by their founders, Dave and Diane Dixon. This name change honors those roots but also lays the groundwork for their promising future.
As part of a long-established transition plan and following the retirement of their founders in 2017, DXI’s ownership transferred to Shawn Pyle. Mr. Pyle’s leadership has played a major role in DXI’s growth and future plans, including this brand refresh and expansion to include a new location in Sterling, Virginia.
“We are excited about the future here at DXI Construction, but we also want to continue to focus on the qualities that got us where we are today. We have achieved both with this brand refresh, which has us even more eager to see what is ahead for our team and our customers,” said Mr. Pyle.
This growth and the accompanying brand changes align with DXI’s dedicated, experienced and innovative approach that focuses on delivering the best for their customers and business partners.
