After logging 50 years in the construction industry, we recently updated our name from Dixie Construction Company, Inc. to DXI Construction to reflect our growing capabilities. But that does not change our history. From humble beginnings as a small paving company in Harford County, MD, we now cover the Mid-Atlantic region, spanning Washington, DC and Virginia, to Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and even West Virginia. And along the way, we’ve become one of the area’s top site-preparation construction companies.

We’re forward thinking. We invest in the latest technology and currently maintain a fleet of over 500 units, one of the largest in the area. We harness laser-grade GPS equipment, GPS site surveying, CAD and 3D computer modeling to drive efficient, cost-effective work that minimizes waste and ensures accuracy and clearer communication.
We’ve been working hard this past half century to invest in our company and the community by building projects that are safe, efficient and community-enhancing. We look forward to the next fifty years and beyond.
